Don’t forget that your marketing should be blacked out between September 4th and November 8th.
This is for two reasons:

  1. Billions are being spent on the political campaigns, and will drive up your costs dramatically, and eliminate advertising availability.
  2. People will be receiving so many emails, Facebook ads, direct mail, etc. that there will be a blindness to your marketing and advertising, causing a decline in response.
  3. Even the excitement of the election itself will cause such a distraction that your product or service will get lost in the news.
