Companies using RCS are already seeing 3x engagement rate with their initial RCS campaigns, vs SMS messaging.

They also have seen a 30% increase in revenue from their RCS messages, compared with revenues on identical offers on SMS and MMS.

Why? Many reasons, including one-tap actions and replies, are proving to be driving measurable increases.

  1. Footlocker Loyalty Program Sparks Sales and Revenue

Footlocker, in the first quarter of 2024, had 50% of the brand’s sales from loyalty program members, up from just 20% one year before.

For its online initiative Footlocker is having more navigation and filters online for women to shop

The women’s category is the fastest growing category for Footlocker.

Shoppers younger than 34 make up the vast majority of its customers. Gen Z shoppers differ from other shoppers. For example, instead of collecting limited-edition sneakers, Gen Z consumers like to wear the sneakers for self-expression, such as custom shoes or accessorizing their sneakers with jewelry and adornments.

  1. The Rise and Fall of Roomba – iRobot

Roomba was launched in 2002 by iRobot. They sold over 20 million iRobots and even achieved $4.77B market cap.

But by 2025, Roomba is on the brink of bankruptcy. Its first annual loss was in 2022.

Major problem?

It did not keep up with new marketing trends, allowing its leadership role in the vertical to collapse.

The digital ad market is expected to grow 12% this year (Source: WARC).
