A growing number of Amazon Prime customers are canceling their subscriptions.

This mass exodus is in response to the company’s announcement of a major change to the Prime service. Amazon has announced that it will extend its standard two-day delivery window to a four-day window for Prime members.

According to Amazon, their decision aimed to optimize logistics and reduce environmental impact for “green” reasons.

This undermines the core appeal of the Prime membership – rapid delivery.

This has been a PR nightmare as social media platforms have blown up with negative responses, expressing their intentions to cancel their memberships.
