Walmart Plus membership partnership is competing with Amazon Prime. It’s Walmart’s most ambitious e-commerce push. Walmart is expanding Marketing benefits. For $13.00 a month, you become a member. Added new benefits: 25% off on digital sales every three months and a fresh whopper.
2.) Netflix Growth:
Netflix reported that its ad-supported membership rose 34% compared to 2023. Its global paid membership rose 16.5% year-over-year to 278 million members.
3.) AI: Better targeting ahead?
55 billion dollars is being spent on AI by Meta, Google, Apple, and Amazon for better-targeting advertising to likely buyers.
4.) BJ’s Wholesale Club E-commerce:
BJ’s Wholesale Club has seen 22% growth in its e-commerce and 9% growth in its membership. There is tough competition with Sam’s Club and Cosco, but it shows two significant trends: online sales and membership revenue continue to grow.
5.) Bud Light Massive Sales Decline:
Bud Light fell to No. 3 in U.S. beer dollar sales. This is a direct result of their DEI policies offending customers. This means Bud Light is behind Modelo Especial and Michelob Ultra.
6.) Peloton sales Increase Thanks to E-commerce.
