The total shoppers in retail stores and online purchases over cyber weekend (Thursday-Monday) was $169.7 million.
That’s up from a healthy $17 million from last year and the highest number ever.
Consumers spent an average of $325.44 on Christmas related purchases — up from $301.27 in 2021.
Toys were the leading category on cyber-Monday.
Second was sporting goods, then appliances, books, jewelry, electronics, and computers.
Online spending was $35.27 billion, up 5% from last year.
