Forbes’ annual list of the world’s billionaires revealed there are 2,781 billionaires worldwide, worth an estimated $14.2 trillion.

At least one of them – Jeff Bezos – achieved his fortune by direct marketing.

This year’s list added 141 more billionaires in assets.

The U.S. has the most billionaires, with 813 versus 473 billionaires in China and India’s 200.

On the list are Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates and all three are in the top 10 in the world.

Businessman Bernard Arnault is #1. He controls the $233 billion LVMH empire built on fashion, cosmetics, and alcohol.

Also on the list: Newcomer Taylor Swift, with $1.1 billion.
