- Musk Says Ads in Grok Will Fund xAI’s AI Costs
Ads may soon appear in responses from Grok, the X-embedded AI chatbot.
Elon Musk said he hoped advertising in Grok would generate funding for investment in AI development.
He said advertisers will “be able to upload an ad to Grok” and “do nothing else,” letting the system aid in everything from targeting to campaign optimization.
Note: My ad agency is using X now… so don’t wait.
Musk also hinted at plans for an in-app checkout feature to enable purchases directly within X.
Musk believes Grok is becoming “the smartest, most accurate AI in the world.”

Bed Bath & Beyond’s new owners say they will not open any stores in California because of regulations, taxes and crime. Less jobs is California’s history as they see Chevron, IN-N-OUT and more leaving. It was largely government and tax supported jobs such as education that grew.
California’s job record is the worst in the nation.
- TikTok Implements Hashtag Limit
TikTok has instituted a five-hashtag limit on posts, restricting the amount of topic tags that you can append to your TikTok clips.
TikTok’s platform algorithms detect user interest based on their engagement. Hashtags are less important for targeting than they once were.
Other platforms are revising their approach to hashtags with X removing them from ads, LinkedIn deprioritizing hashtags for discovery, and Threads limiting its own topic tags to one per post. Instagram has also been experimenting with a five-hashtag limit.
