Now subscribers only remove—no advertising.
This is becoming a trend, especially with ad blockers.
If you go to the Prevention website, this is what happens.
A floater asks you to sign up for 12 free reports, with a six-month subscription to follow. An invoice then comes in the mail for $22, plus $1.99 S&H.

This floater asks for the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Email

After submitting an order, the floater then offers to customers more paid reports. There are then three more offer pages before the final confirmation page.
This method is turning into a popular replacement for ad-based online magazines.
