Part of what is happening with direct-to-consumer wine marketing is that test results involve both email and SMS messaging.
First, most D2C wine markets have a database of around 10,000.

The latest test results show that only 300 SMS contacts produce the same sales!
Here are the results of text messaging:
- 3 times better open rates than email
- 4 times more click-through than email
- 32 times more sales than email
